Her false hope
Easy illusions
Run into me
Never real
All of it consumes
Naïve I was
Devil disguised
Ever manipulating
Zeal now black

Short Poem, Read it slowly. :P

Anyways, this one is about one of my past friends.
It's about how we're no longer friends and she basically kicked me out and how sometimes we still sort of still connect in little ways. Or so I thought, because I'm left with some hope that we still sort of connect, but them she does things that remind me that it's not true.

That's the reason for the title.

"Zeal now black" is a very powerful line.

To me it seems like every even line contradicts or adds a bit more of a confrontational tone to the one preceding it.

Very good.
